Milo Master

Fun fact of the week (?): I may be addicted to Milo
Elaboration on fun fact of the week: Milo is a traditional New Zealand drink that's like hot chocolate but not because there's hardly any sugar in it. Since I am a dark chocolate lover, milo is right up my alley and I drink a cup for breakfast every morning. But then, a few sisters helped me discover that you can add sugar and milk and cinnamon and vanilla to Milo and make it delicious! So now I have one cup in the morning and one at night for companion study. I'm not too worried, yet...

Kia Ora whanau!!
This week has been great! We are working with lots of people, so we taught 2-3 lessons every day this week except Sunday! It was incredible. Our only struggle is that no one really wants to come to church, so we are working on that...

We started singing at a rest home on Fridays as a district  which is fun! it's not in our area, but the sisters in the Pukete area have been visiting less active members who live there. It's really cool to see the joy it brings into their hearts when we do something as simple as sing :) Service truly is an amazing tool!

Sorry if this email isn't the longest. We have a new mission president, and he's slowly making new rules. One of them is that we can message friends on P days as well as Family using facebook so now my motivation to email has gone down the drain haha! Don't worry, I'll try my hardest to keep it up just for you guys ;)

Anyways hope you all have a wonderful week! you are amazing and Heavenly Father truly loves you :) Now go do some missionary work!!! hahaha

Can We Do It? Yes We Can!

(sorry for my bob the builder heading I am getting worse and worse and thinking of weekly captions haha)
Fun fact of the week! In Australia, Kangaroos are about as common as deer and considered pests.

Hi! :)

This week has been good! On Tuesday we had Zone conference, and our Mission President is super hyped and ready to help our mission progress! Last year we had 213 baptisms, and he's set a goal for 500 this next year!! We are way excited if not a little overwhelmed. But I really feel that we can do it :)
We have been working with two kids, ages 11 and 10, for the past few weeks and this last week we met and started teaching their mom! We are excited to help bring the family closer together as they learn more about the gospel.
One funny story was it was raining this week while we were walking to a street to door knock, and Sister Isabell excitedly says "My dreams of tracting in the rain are finally being fulfilled!" I was laughing and smiling so hard. She has the most gusto I have ever met in a sister and I am so stoked for this transfer! We finna baptize all of Rototuna this transfer! haha.
I don't think too much else happened... New Zealand is still as beautiful as ever, I am still eating more food than I ever have in my life, and the Book of Mormon is still true! As always...

I read this cool scripture in Hebrews 4:14-15 that talks about how even though He was perfect and never succumbed to sin, Christ was tempted just like we are. Because He was just as susceptible to temptation as we are, He truly is able to feel each of our pains and heartaches on a personal level. Never forget that our Saviour loves you :)

I love love you all!

Change, change and more change

Fun fact of the week: In Arkansas there is a museum of Walmart :) Also Walmart was founded in Arkansas and practically everyone works there lol.

I got transferred!!!!
After 6 months in Nawton I was pretty sure I was going to die there, but alas the Lord had other plans for me. My new companion is Sister Isabell from Arkansas! She's my first palangi (white) companion so that's cool! She is the sweetest sweetheart ever whos life aspirations are to be a mom and raise a family :') She's so adorable.

A huge change is that I'm now in Rototuna! It's very flash (rich, upperclass etc) and I'm sooo not used to that haha. Nawton was a Ghetto and Opotiki was a poor country town, so I'm not used to two story houses, doorbells, and fancy gardens. Our flat is one of the nicest in the mission. It has a heated towel rack?? I'm not sure what one does with a heated towel rack but I will soon find out...

Our area is bumpin! We are working with 7 people at the moment, and we set one of them for baptism on August 3rd last night! We're working with a few families which is cool. I love the people here already, and I know I've been placed in Rototuna for a reason :)

I hope you all have an amazing week! Remember the Lord loves you!

Sister Keller

1. The Fakavai family whom I will miss!
2. Phoenix who is getting baptized on Saturday! Since I was only transferred 10 minutes away I should be able to still see the baptism ;)
3. A cute Less active member gave us slippers to wear while we were visiting her so our feet weren't cold Haha
4. Sister Meto and her new companion, Sister wihangi!
5. Stop, yield, go !
6. Me and sister Isabell biking!
7. Sister isabell loves no bakes too!

Adventures of Roaming Hedgehogs

This week I am very much out of time! We did a big hike this morning then I spent a bit talking to my mum and dad so this will be very short.
3 fun facts!

1. We set Phoenix for baptism on the 20th! He is the first person that I've set, the other 5 had already been set when I came into the area! Now I'll probably get transferred though...
2. I met our new mission president and his wife! President and Sister Erekson are way cool, I'm so excited for the rest of my mission with them!
3. Hedgehogs are nocturnal, and very common animals that roam around a lot :) It's so cute we see them in our backyard all the time!

Anyways I'll write more next week, sorry I won't respond to anyone this week. Love love you all!!
