After Christmas

The day after Christmas Troy took the kids to Idaho to visit family. Carlin was to go on a trip that didn't work out so she went to a show and flying with a friend and then went to St. George with her mother to meet with people about the house they are buying down there.





Here are some pictures that Troys mom took of them while they were in Idaho. I'll also see what I can upload.

Here is my mom and I in St. George, yes wore our coats. It was cold, not as cold as SLC, but cold. And much warmer than the day Jen took me flying in this little plane! We had a high of 17 degrees that day. But it was fun... maybe a new hobby? Pottery out flying in?

Christmas Eve

Brady's family was over for Christmas Eve. We ate a lot of food and the kids played. We decided last minute to try the nativity. Troy sent them off to find a constume while we found a shorten version (instead of reading it straight from the bible). Grant was the inn keeper, Tanya came back as a donkey (yes blue socks on ears are her donkey ears), Victor was the shepherds/wisemen, Morgan was the narrator, Whitney was Mary, Anna was the angel, Ethan was Joseph, Alyssa played a sheep, Aaron was our back ground man and Roger the cabage patch doll was baby Jesus

Santa then dropped PJs by and we said our goodbyes. We then opened our presents from Grandma and Grandpa Keller (I like to do our grandparent gifts on different nights so the kids know who gave them what for Christmas, it's a little too much to do it all on Christmas day and expect the kids to remember who gave them what. It has really worked well these last few years). This year everyone received an outfit and a magazine subscription from Grandma and Papa K. Thanks! We'll love them all year long. Then off to bed to see if Santa could find our house...

sledding

Troy took the kids, all outfitted in goggles, up to the golf course for some sledding today. (So I could catch up on the blog even though I should be getting ready to have Brady's family over for dinner and Christmas Eve tonight).
They have returned nice and sweaty, but in good spirits. Tanya ran into a tree and is limping a bit so I put a horse movie on for her and Morgan and that seemed to remedy things.

Family Christmas Party

Last night was my families Christmas Party. We missed having Mike's family there, we really out number everyone with our six now. We started off with some appetizers, mmm this is when we get shrimp and slush.

Family Chirstmas Party Video clips

Ethan played the piano and Victor sang Jolly Old St. Nicholas. They only practiced together that morning and did a wonderful job. Grayce played a piano piece. Ana sang jingle bells and Ka played piano. Morgan played her viola and we sang a long (she's only been playing with a bow for a month, I've been so impressed with how well she is doing). We have Grant on guitar playing banana pancakes by Jack Jonson.

Snowflakes

Our first craft activity this week without school. The kids made around 60 snowflakes. They also made a Popsicle stick Christmas tree ornament. Very exciting stuff.
