Hello all!
Sorry for not writing last week! P days are for preparing for the week to come, sometimes physically and other times mentally. Last week I needed a mental preparation day :)
This week has been wonderful! It has been very very busy, which has been quite a wonderful change from weeks in the past. Since it still gets dark around 6 PM and we aren't allowed to tract in the dark, we have been setting appointments with members from 6-9pm and it has been incredible! Not only are we busy every single day, but Sister Meto is getting closer to members in our area and they are trusting us more. It's super great! We even went out with one of the recent concerts to do missionary work! Shes 17, and is planning on serving a mission. She even asked us if she could come out with us! Shes so adorable I love her.
The only down side is that they feed us food, delicious polynesian food with meat and taro and all the works... I have not stayed as slim as before the mission haha. Worth it though!
This week was also a week of conferences! We had Zone Conference which was amazing. We havent had a normal zone conference for about 3 transfers, so it was nice to listen to president and sister Cummings, and to hear more about what they feel we need to know.
We also had Stake conference on Mothers day! It was super great. My favourite quote from stake conference was when a young woman got up and talked about opportunities.
"A man was drowning in the ocean and boat passed by and asked if he needed help. "No thank you, God will save me!" was the mans reply. Another boat passed by and asked the same thing, to which the man replied "no thank you, God will save me!" The man eventually drowned and when he got up to heaven he asked God "I had faith, why didnt you save me?" God responded: "Bruh, I sent you two boats!"
