This week has been super exciting!! Okay, one day of this week was super super exciting and the rest was kinda normal Haha.
On Tuesday... I got to shake hands with the prophet!! So President and Sister Nelson came on a Pacific tour with Elder and Sister Gong, and they met with all the missionaries serving in Auckland and Hamilton (sorry @my MTC companion Sister Lee serving in Wellie...), and we were able go shake his hand! They each gave amazing talks, and were something I definitely needed to hear.
Did you know that Sister Nelson is actually hilarious?? She told a story about when President Nelson was feeling sick, but told her to not call the doctor. Her response was "like any good housewife, I didnt call the doctor. I texted him." They both have amazing senses of humour and I love them both so much!
The only other interesting thing that happened this week was on Sunday. I almost made it half way through my mission without giving a talk, but I gave my first one yesterday!
*side note: I usually dont talk about how much time I have left, but I hit my half way mark this week?? Very sad :((*
For my spiritual thought this week, I'd like to share something Sister Nelson said. She was talking about prayer, and an experience she had when she was with Sheri Dew. She asked Sister Dew to say a prayer so that sister Nelson would be able to purchase a certain house. Sister Dew said the prayer, but ended it with "that sister Nelson may be able to purchase the house, or something better". I loved that so much! No matter what we think we know, Gods plan is always better. If we trust in him, all will be good in the end :)
