November, Thanksgiving and Tanya's 22nd Birthday!

Ok a few more things that happened in November...  The Tingey's did a bunch of sealings in the Bountiful Temple on Saurday the 17th.  It was great to be there all together and to do some long awaited temple sealings.  The names we did were names that my mom, Grayce and I had found. Very cool.

Some pictures of Ethan and Percy chilling... took these to send to Morgan and I don't think that we got them sent!  Better late than never.

Then, of course, there was Thanksgiving!  We had the family and my parents over to our new home in Farmington for Thanksgiving dinner.  Troy was awesome to make the turkey again this year!  I'm not so great with birds and would always talk someone else into cooking the bird, or coming over and helping me cook it.  So a few years back when I broke my wrist right before Thanksgiving, Troy stepped up and cooked the turkey!  Awesomeness! Thus it has been passed to him to be the baker of the bird at Thanksgiving.  I give thanks for this blessing :)

It was great to have most everyone there.  We were missing Morgan as she is serving the Lord in New Zealand and Victor said he slept though the holiday, so we missed him too.  The food was great and I
even baked a pie, it's been years!  Seriously, maybe like 15 years since I've baked a pie.  It was so so.  I cut out half of the sugar that the recipe called for and so the pie was ok, but definately needed a little whipped cream or better yet some ice cream.  Then it was tasty.

My parent's have been teaching a finance class in the evenings and so we had them come share some highlights for the family.  It was really good and I think most everyone got something useful out of it.  After the financial learning we pulled out the pies, cake and ice cream and celebrated Tanya's 22nd birthday.  She got all of the candles out with one little puff.  We may have to go back to trick candles for Tanya next year.

Thanksgiving and other going ons : )

We had a wonderful time in Idaho over Thanksgiving.  We stayed with Klint's family and had Thanksgiving dinner there with Grandma and Papa Keller.  We got our tails kicked in bowling by those Idaho Keller's, but it was a lot of fun.  We ate at Honkers - a favorite for Troy, saw a couple movies with cousins and grandparents, ate some more and just visited and relaxed.  It was a great holiday get-a-way!  Oh, we even bought some train making materials and made trains with Suzie, Jack and Max : )

9 degrees at the gas stop.  Ethan was very happy he had brought his turtle costume to show the cousins, he slipped it on to stay extra cozy on the car ride home....
Ana got her braces off the last day in November, a happy day for us all! No more elastics floating around the house.

Troy got me some box tickets to the Jazz game, so I took my NYC girls.  They had a great time sitting on the front row!  Morgan and Calvin tagged a long and enjoyed the game too.  (Dec 4th). I was slightly disappointed that the bear didn't tease them at all!  Hahaha

Letter From Grant

So, this Noel season is wonderful! More and More people are willing to talk to us and President Roney thinks that that is because people are looking for presents to give. And when you think of others you feel Christs love, and when that happens you are more open to talk to Boys in Suits. YAY

We made more cakes this week. Small bannana bread cakes in old cans (yes mom we wash them with soap, and our hands). After we bake the bread we give it to others! Tuesday we decided to give one to Steven. Steven is a guy we met riding his no handed segway and we know he lives two floors above us...And we know he has a ring on his finger. (insert evil cackle here)

Not knowing where Stevens door is on the fourth floor we grabbed the cake and hopped in the elevator, said a quick prayer that we will be able to find him. Elevator doors open and guess who is on the otherside of the doors? Steven AND his wife!

We gave them the cake talked for a few minuets and then she invited us into her apartment! We go in to discover that THEY HAVE THREE KIDS. It is perfect! They are married, they have kids, they do happen to be catholic but that's nothing we can't fix.

We talked to them for about 40 minuets! We plan on inviting them to Family Night and trying to have a family night at their house! We hope that they become receptive and want to hear more about the gospel! we have been praying all week that they will want to have these family nights! Your prayers are greatly appreciated!

Love you all! Share the gift!

Be happy! A smile looks better then the nicest suit!

Elder Keller

A sweet mom posted this on the Lyon France Facebook page.  It was Elder Keller's Thanksgiving dinner.
Grant sent Morgan this picture of him playing a blue guitar.
