Being sick
I got the flu bug this weekend. Not the viral, achy bone flu, just the good ol' stomach stuff. The only reason I'm mentioning this is, looking back on it, it's amazing that I really didn't care what was going on or happening around me. I didn't care that the kids had (were missing) dance and guitar, what they were eating or watching on tv, that it was laundry day or that I was supposed to be delivering things and making calls for Relief Society. All of those things at any other time would have stressed me out or I would have felt an obligation to find a replacement. Not that I would like to be sick again, but in a way it was a free ticket and I don't feel one bit guilty about not full filling any of my duties yesterday. That is a nice feeling, no guilt and no more bubbly stomach!

Miss Morgan
Things are good. Morgan and I got up really early this morning to go into Primary Children's Hospital so she could have her tubes replaced. The past few months Morgan has had a lot of strange drainage and a couple ear infections. Some tissue had grown into her tubes and was causing problems. So today we had the old (2 1/2 year old) tubes taken out and new ones put in. Everything went well and Morgan is doing great. She had been excited to go back and make another doll (we forgot the last doll and she reminds me every now and then that we left it at the hospital) and she wanted to try the bubble gum sleeping gas, last time it was cotton candy. Last time we went she was very ANXIOUS and they pulled out everything and did all sorts of games and activities with her to help her feel more comfortable. The sweet nurses answered all 500 questions she had. This time she was super excited and all she wanted to talk about was making a new doll and all the TV she would get to watch when she was done. I'm glad she did so well and now I think I might go take a little nap while she watches all the TV she has planned for the day.

Alice in wonderland
April is going to be the month of performances for us! And I've finally found a way to post video's from my camera (copied Tirsa)! Last Monday Grant was in the chorus for the the Jr. High's production of Alice in Wonderland. I was so impressed with everyone in it and the great job the Drama teacher did to pull it together. Soooo... with my little camera here is a clip of Grant Keller. He is in the yellow shirt with the yellow bandana on his head. He's in the middle but back by the tree. Awesome job Grant!

Fish, or just gold fish?
I will say, that has to be the fattest squirrel I have ever seen.
Catching up on last week...
Last week we had a Birthday Party for America in Ethan's Kindergarten class, being the room mom all I have done this year is Kindergarten. The kids are so much fun and get so excited about everything that it's fun to be in there. We did lots of crafts and games with stars and the colors red, white and blue. I've cut out enough stars to last me a couple years.
Grant had to build a musical instrument for his music class and choose to make a guitar. He finished his guitar as he was walking out the door to school on Friday. We never got to the music store to buy strings and so he used long, skinny balloons pulled really tight. It turned out pretty cool... perfect size for Ethan to carry around and play with. Although, Ethan has already informed us he is going to play the drums, something for us to look forward to I guess.

Riding Bikes
Yeah! Ethan is riding a two wheeler. He can start and stop all on his own now and cruises all around now. It was a cold conference weekend for us but Troy and the kids did a great job cleaning out the garage on Saturday! I'm like a ground hog, I don't stick my head out unless the temperatures are in the mid 50's.
