Constellations

Hello family and friends :) this week has been alright. One highlight was I sent a referral to one of my good friends from Uni, hermana Bates serving in Oklahoma! Other than that not too many exciting things have been going on in Nawton. We had an online baptism which was great :)

For my spiritual thought, I'd like to talk about the stars. Have you ever gone star gazing, like really truly star gazing? Where you set aside time to just look up at the stars with no talking or phones? At first, you only see a handful of stars, maybe 50 or so. But the longer you stare, the better your eyes adjust and you are able to see more stars, as many as hundreds, as the night goes on. Sometimes you'll get distracted and look at your phone, and you have to start all over and are unable to see stars for a while. Or sometimes a cloud will float over the sky which is something you are unable to control, but you still are unable to see stars.

Patience is one of the Christ like attributes that confused me. In order to be more like the Saviour, I need to be good at waiting? But the longer I've been out on my mission, the more I've realized how vital it is to have patience in yourself, and the lords timing. Just like with star gazing, the longer you have patience the more will be revealed. Occasionally you get distracted from the world, and sometimes things you can't control take away Gods revelation. But i promise that as you have faith and patience, our Heavenly Father will tell you all you need to know for the time.

I love you all and if you need anyone to talk to ever I am here for you :)

Sister Keller

Funny things Sister Meto said at the Zoo today:

To the monkeys: "are you cold, do you need blanket?"
"Wait do that again so I can video it!"
To me:
"You look just like that monkey right there!"
