From Mom to Morgan

Fun day celebrating dad!  Ethan helped me cook ribs.  Grant and kir and Tanya and Taylor came.  And we had to and her kids, Jason came down later tonight and will be here for a couple of days.  Then Grant, dad, Kirsten and Ethan played a couple rounds of truco 😊

I think that's a pretty good bday/father's day!

So this week Ethan received his patriarchal blessing and I was able to type it up for Grandpa.  I had a couple of questions so I read through all of our families blessings.  While I read yours I thought your third and fourth paragraph seen to be fitting at the moment...

Ok maybe 2nd too πŸ˜‰
They are all just so beautiful!  Just like you!

now, I promise you that, if you will seek your heavenly father in sincere, Ernest, and humble prayer on a regular basis, he will reveal to you, through the promptings of the holy ghost, those things you need to know and to do in order to endure and pass for the tests and trials of this life. You will face tests and trials, for that is the nature of this life. Heavenly Father uses them to prepare you for exaltation and he will guide you through them by the power of the holy ghost, if you seek him in prayer.

in the pre-existence you were taught and instructed in everything you would need to know and to do upon this Earth to be successful. He promised you there, and he promises you again here, if you seek him in prayer, he will reveal to you, or that is, will recall to your mind parts of that training on a regular basis. This knowledge will allow you to safely pass through the trials of this life.

now, you bring with you from your former celestial home a great propensity for good. Heavenly father has this blessed you with a pleasing personality, a keen and sharp mind, a sweet spirit, and with a beautiful countenance. You were given these talents and gifts so that you might use them to bring good to this world. You must always, wherever you go in this world, reach out to those around you. You will bless their lives and help them to be better people.

What beautiful teachings and it perfectly describes you!! You are sweet, amazing and wonderful.  You will do much good, you will have trials, but you were prepared for then before you came to this Earth.  This is why you feel guilty, you have always know what was right and wrong.  It will also help you pass safely through your trials.  I don't know why or what you needed to learn from this little hicup in your mission, but you will pass through it and continue to do good.  That far outweighs the mistake you made.

I love love love you. Sorry I'm writing so late but it's been a busy week watching Remi and helping with Sawyer and today cooking for Father's day and birthday.  I miss chatting with you, how sweet it will be in a couple weeks to hear your voice and see your beautiful smile again!!
Love you and have a wonderful week!
Mom

Haha glad to hear that you guys are celebrating dads birthday in such a fun way!! I'm pretty bummed I don't get to call, but hopefully I can make it up to him :)

Thank you for that. You and dad have both been super encouraging this week and I think it's exactly what I need. Thank you for your constant love and support even though I struggle each week to be the best I can be. I am so grateful to be a missionary :) I'm learning so much.

Also here's the picture from when we met the prophet!

That is so awesome!! Is that your entire mission?

Babe we love you so much, you are amazing and are doing so much good.  Heavenly Father knows what he needs you to do and how to get you where he needs you.  It's part of the plan and the path you are on and rules are good, but they aren't the end all. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

What would life have been like if I didn't drive over s few currently to pick up our drop off kids every now and then. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

We are her to find out and bring joy to others, that you are doing and that's what matters.  Read your blessing.  You are doing what God needs you to do right now.  Messaging another missionary didn't break any of the 10 commandments!  Did it stop you from loving God or your parents?  I think not.  Did it make you steal or commit adultery?  No.  It's a little trial in obedience that you needed to help you see something new or differently and to get from.  Just a part of life...

Love you the mostest!
Mom

Funny thing.  Remi loves Ninjas.  So I told Tiff we need to watch Austenland so she'll be prepared for when Remi grows up (I didn't know that when startled I'd become a ninja πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—
